Schedule of Tuition and Fees For the 2017-2018 School Year
Re-Enrollment Fee: Current GA families with returning students will pay a $100 Re-Enrollment Fee per family each year. This fee is waived if complete re-enrollment application packages AND the 10% non-refundable re-enrollment deposit are received in the school office by March 15.
New Student Application Fee: First-time applicants pay a $100 non-refundable application fee per student, which increases to $200 if applying after May 31, $300 after June 30, and $400 after July 31.
Books: Student and parent books are purchased by parents from a required book list. These books may be purchased new or used, and those that are not consumable may be resold to other students at the annual school used book sale.
Field Trips: Students in grades 3-8 attend an out-of-town field trip during the school year. Total cost of these field trips is usually around $300.00 per student. There are various other field trips throughout the year for all grades and parents will need to pay the costs for admission, gas, meals, and other costs.
Class Fee: Art and science classes may have a supply fee.
End-of-Year Testing: The fee for end-of-year testing is covered in tuition. Students needing individualized testing will be referred to our independent test administrator, as we are not able to accommodate them.
Because Grace Academy begins to incur expenses well in advance of the school year for teacher training, classroom books and resources, and supplies, etc., tuition is collected beginning in June to fund those expenses. The enrollment deposit is due prior to that time as teachers’ needs are finalized at the end of the current school year based on projected enrollment.
A non-refundable deposit of 10% of total annual tuition is due at enrollment or re-enrollment. The balance of annual tuition is due in full by June 1 or it may be paid monthly for nine months beginning June 1 and ending February 15. A two percent discount is given to families who pay in full by June 1. Children whose tuition is not current by the end of the month may be suspended from class until the tuition is made current. Schoolwork missed during tuition payment suspensions will not be allowed to be made up, nor will requested records be released.
Grace Academy offers a 5% sibling discount for families with more than one child attending GA. The discount is applied to the tuition of the younger siblings.
When you register for classes at Grace Academy, you are registering for a full academic year and are making a financial commitment to pay tuition for the full year. After June 1, if you decide to withdraw your child from Grace Academy and written notice is received by Grace Academy by September 30, you will be relieved of one half of your tuition obligation for the full year. The balance due may be paid all at once when your child is withdrawn or it may be paid monthly in accordance with the normal tuition payment plan.
Parents will sign a Financial Agreement at enrollment stating their understanding and agreement to these terms.
Annual Tuition for Classical Curriculum and Extended Learning
For grades K-6, classes for the Full Classical Curriculum meet 8:20 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday. Extended Learning is available from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Friday.
Amounts in parentheses reflect tuition with 5% sibling discount if applicable.
Kindergarten through Second Grades:
Classical Curriculum (M/W) $2,550 ($2,420)

Third through Sixth Grades:

Seventh and Eighth Grades:
For grades 7-8, classes for the Classical Curriculum meet 8:20 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Monday and Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Extended Learning is available from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Tuesday and/or Friday and/or Thursday for those enrolled in the science class.
Full Classical Curriculum (M/W/TH) $3,750 ($3,560) (Thursday is a 3-hour class block)
